The ip assist hw command for setting an IP address last unacceptable
long so we can not spin while we waiting for the irq. Since we can
ensure process context for all occurrences of this command we can use
wait.

For z/VM GuestLAN or VSWITCH devices the transport layer is
configured in z/VM. The layer2 attribute of a participating Linux
device has to match the z/VM definition. In case of a mismatch
Linux currently crashes in qeth recovery due to a reference to the
not yet existing net_device.
Solution: add a check for existence of net_device and add a message
pointing to the mismatch of layer definitions in Linux and z/VM.

OSA-devices operating in layer3 mode offer adding of the source MAC
address to the QDIO header of inbound packets. The qeth driver can
exploit this functionality to replace FAKELL-entries in the ethernet
header of received packets.

Fixed trivial IPv4/6 address printing conflicts in fs/cifs/connect.c due
to the conversion to %pI (in this networking merge) and the addition of
doing IPv6 addresses (from the earlier merge of CIFS).

Add a new proc interface /proc/service_levels that allows any code
to report a relevant service level, e.g. the microcode level of
devices, the service level of the hypervisor, etc.

qeth needs to get the port count information before
qdio has allocated a page for the chsc operation.
Extend qdio_get_ssqd_desc() to store the data in the

So just don't allocate private data memory when do alloc_netdev()
and use netdev->ml_priv to reference private data.

Do not touch IFF_UP flag during qeth recovery, but invoke dev_close()
in case of failing recovery.
Cancel outstanding control commands in case of Data Checks or
Channel Checks.
Do not invoke qeth_l2_del_all_mc() in case of a hard stop to speed up
removal of qeth devices.

Real HiperSocket devices in layer2 mode have a firmware-created
MAC-address. This change enables the qeth driver to use this
firmware MAC-address for layer2 HiperSocket devices.

LCS recovery dumps in irq routine when CCW address in
Subchannel Status Word (SCSW) is zero. This occurs

probe_error() frees memory only, if cgdev->dev.driver_data refers
to the claw_privbk structure. Move forward its setting in claw_probe()
to ensure proper freeing of claw_privbk allocations.

For hiper socket devices this patch will economize the reallocation
of the tx skb data segment by allocating separate memory for the qdio
transport information (qeth header).

The intention of the driver appears to be to invalidate the VLAN tag.
Change it to set skb->vlan_tci to zero, which has the same effect.
